Inscriptions serve as authentic and documented source of information to understand history and various facets of life in the bygone era, said Nalgonda District History Association president D. Surya Kumar.
Speaking on the topic ‘A review of inscriptions of Nalgonda district' at a seminar organised by the History Department at NG Government College here on Friday, Mr. Surya Kumar said nearly 500 inscriptions of immense historical significance were found at places like Panagal, Kolanupaka, Pillalamarri, Yeleswaram and Rachakonda in the district.
