‘India achieving growth under Modi’

Endowments Minister P. Manikyala Rao said India was achieving commendable growth under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

American President Barack Obama’s participation as chief guest at the Republic Day celebrations in Delhi reflects the goodwill that India enjoyed in the comity of nations.

If the country were to reach greater heights, all sections of society have to strengthen the hands of Mr. Modi, the Minister said at the RD function held at the BJP State office here on Monday.

Mr. Rao said India lagged behind other countries during the previous regimes whereas under the present dispensation, India attracted global attention due to its leadership and the resilience of its people amidst heavy odds. Minister for Health Kamineni Srinivas said the State government was framing policies which help in improving public health. Due emphasis has been laid on improving the facilities in government hospitals, he added.
