The temperature in the coastal Andhra and the Rayalaseema districts is expected to go up in the coming few days making it a hot summer. According to the India Meteorological Department, the southeast winds are causing the temperatures to rise and keeping the weather dry.

The maximum temperature in Kurnool and Anantapur may touch 41 degrees Celsius, a deviation of two to three degrees from the normal temperature continuously for the coming two days.

In East and West Godavari, Guntur, Krishna, Kadapa, Chittoor, Nellore and Prakasam, the temperature would be constantly above 37 degrees Celsius in the next three days.

Guntur may be the hottest in the coastal region on Saturday as it is expected to register a maximum temperature of 39 degrees Celsius.

In the three north Andhra districts, the temperature is predicted to be around 35 degrees Celsius.

The Rayalaseema and the coastal districts may also witness higher wind speeds between 9 and 10 kmph. The temperature across the district may only go up in the coming days as the State is also being hit by the northern winds, officials say.
