HC order on Tsunduru murder case soon

Special public prosecutor had requested the bench not hear the case further. He citied the feelings of the victims as the reason.

The division bench of the AP High Court, comprising Justice L. Narasimha Reddy and Justice M.S.K. Jaiswal, on Wednesday said it would soon deliver orders on the plea for stopping further adjudication in the Tsunduru Dalit murder case.

For the record, the special public prosecutor had requested the bench not hear the case further . He citied the feelings of the victims as the reason. The bench wondered how the hearing could be stopped half way through and asked the opinion of the Additional Solicitor-General of India. The Additional Solicitor-General submitted his contentions on Tuesday . The special and additional public prosecutors made their submissions on Wednesday. They said that this case had history, and that the victims were entitled to bring to the notice of the court certain issues through them. The bench said that it would deliver its judgment on the issue soon.
