Haailand, a wholesome entertainment theme park, a subsidiary of Agri Gold Group, is getting ready for inauguration on Sunday. Chief Minister K. Rosaiah, who is scheduled to tour Guntur district, will inaugurate the theme park spread across 42 acres on Sunday afternoon.
During a mediapersons' detour of the park on Friday, Agri Gold Group Chairman V.R. Rao Awas, said that Haailand was designed in a way to create an out of the world experience and pleasure, encompassing pleasant ambiance, sumptuous food, thrilling rides, haunting mysteries, enticing sports etc.
The structures with a unique Buddhist design, painted in concept colours, offer a visual treat to tourists. The park was divided into seven zones named after prominent countries in South Asia, including Thailand, China, Tibet, Cambodia, Burma and Indonesia, reflecting the Buddhist culture, history and tradition.
The park has an all pervasive Buddhist feel about it and designed to attract local, national and international tourists. The group chairman said that visitors to the park would have an opportunity to witness spectacular week-end entertainment programmes capturing the unique culture of Asian countries. For instance, in Japan Zone, a river-like stream snakes through reminding one of a meandering serpent.
Other highlights
The other highlights include ‘The Valley of Telugu- The Museum of Sanskrutika Sravanthi', which traces the region's history from 600 B.C. to the end of British rule in a unique 3-D format.
It also offers the best of international cuisine, continental, Italian, Mexican, Thai and Chinese to native flavours from Chettinaad, Andhra, Kerala and Punjab.
Features like, shopping land, wellness centre and banquet halls were part of it. Union Ministers Selja, Panabaka Lakshmi and State Minister for Tourism J. Geetha Reddy would be the guests of honour. “Haailand is like a mystic land, which offers relaxation to mind, body and soul,” Mr. Awas said.
