Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has said the guidelines for scholarships to be given to students of the Kapu community will be finalised soon. He instructed the officials to ensure that the guidelines for implementation of welfare schemes by various corporations were uniform.
He wanted the Kapu Corporation’s Group MSME scheme, which has received encouraging response, to be replicated by the BC Corporation. The Group MSME scheme is intended to encourage Kapu entrepreneurs to form groups and set up MSME units as a source of livelihood. At a review meeting on welfare schemes of various departments here on Wednesday, Mr. Naidu said the equipment purchased under the various welfare schemes should be geo-tagged.
