: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Sunday said he would provide venture capital to enable DWCRA groups to set up start-up companies that would market any innovative products developed by them.

Inaugurating a DWCRA Bazaar that was organised by the Rural Development Department at the IGMC stadium in connection with Krishna Pushkaram here, Mr. Naidu said he instructed the officials concerned to take necessary market intervention measures to help DWCRA groups earn decent returns on their investments. Incubation centres would be set up to promote DWCRA products.

The target should be to tap the international demand for their products, the Chief Minister added.

Rural Development Minister K. Mrunalini said 276 types of products were displayed by the DWCRA groups at 220 stalls and that such events were being organised at regular intervals.

Mr. Naidu later inaugurated an exhibition organised by the Information and Public Relations Department at the IGMC.

The expo depicted various development and welfare projects. Minister Devineni Umamaheswara Rao and Vijayawada MP Kesineni Srinivas were among those present.
