Govt. to present progress report at Nava Nirmana Deeksha

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will present a progress report on the last year year’s achievements and efforts of the State government at Nava nirmana deeksha to be organised for a week starting June 2.

Addressing a press conference at his residence near here on Monday, Mr. Naidu said that a cumulative progress report on last two years governance would be presented at the deeksha. Every citizen in the State should participate in the deeksha. On dot 11 a.m. on June 2, they should take an oath that they would strive for the development of State. Whether they were on road or in house, they should stand up and take oath, he said.

Rolling out the week-long campaign for the deeksha, Mr. Naidu said that the government will hold public awareness programmes from June 3 to 8. People would be encouraged to discuss on the topics such as background of bifurcation of State and development etc. On the concluding day on June 8, there would be ‘Maha Sankalpam’ programme, he said.

On June 3, the debates and discussions would be on unscientific division of A.P. and its impact on the State; on June 4, the government achievements despite hardships. Achievements in agriculture and its allied sectors and steps to make agriculture profitable would be discussed on June 5. A day following it, discussion would be on industry and service sector. On June 7, achievements, welfare and developmental programmes taken up by the government would be topic for discussion.
