Goods train derailment: SCR cancels several trains

South Central Railway has cancelled several trains and a few others partially in view of the derailment of a goods train at Manubolu Yard on Vijayawada-Gudur section on Thursday.

Accordingly, train No. 57640 Guntur –Tirupati Passenger scheduled to depart Guntur at 1 a.m. on Saturday, train No. 66033 Tirupati-Nellore Passenger scheduled to depart Tirupati at 11.25 a.m. on Saturday, train No. 57429 Tirupati-Gudur Passenger, train No. 57412 Gudur-Tirupati Passenger, train No. 66029 Sulurpet-Nellore Passenger scheduled to depart Sulurpet at 8 a.m. on Friday and Saturday, train No. 66030 Nellore-Sulurpet Passenger scheduled to depart Nellore at 10 a.m. on Friday and Saturday, train No. 66031 Sulurpet-Nellore Passenger scheduled to depart Sulurpet at 3.45 p.m on Friday and Saturday, train No. 66032 Nellore-Sulurpet Passenger scheduled to depart Nellore at 5.50 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, train No. 57278 Vijayawada-Bitragunta Passenger scheduled to depart Vijayawada at 6.15 p.m. on Friday, train No. 57240 Bitragunta-Chennai Passenger scheduled to depart Bitragunta at 5.15 a.m. on Saturday, train No. 57239 Chennai-Gudur Passenger scheduled to depart Chennai at 4 p.m. on Saturday, train No. 57277 Gudur-Vijayawada Passenger scheduled to depart Gudur at 6.10 a.m. on Saturday are cancelled.

Partially cancelled trains include train No. 57257 Tirupati-Kakinada Passenger scheduled to depart Tirupati at 1.05 a.m. on Saturday is partially cancelled between Tirupati-Vijayawada. Train No. 57258 Kakinada –Tirupati Passenger scheduled to depart Kakinada at 7.00 a.m. on Friday was partially cancelled between Vijayawada and Tirupati.

Train No. 57241 Bitragunta-Vijayawada Passenger scheduled to depart Bitragunta at 4 a.m. on Saturday is partially cancelled between Bitragunta and Ongole.
