January 24, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:48 am IST - VIJAYAWADA:

Krishna Collector Ahmed Babu exhorted the officers and staff of all departments to cooperate in the implementation of the e-Office project which helps in speedy delivery of services in the electronic mode.

Addressing an awareness programme on the project at the Sub-Collector’s office here on Friday, Mr. Babu said training would be imparted to six departments in the first phase and one training session would be held every 15 days. The e-Office project would reduce time and money spent on delivery of services.

Transparency was its hallmark and there would be no scope for escaping from accountability, Mr. Babu said and added that nodal officers were being appointed for rolling out the project. He recalled that he could successfully implement e-Office in Adilabad district when he was the Collector there. It was very useful in conducting the general elections smoothly.

Additional Joint collector B.L. Chennakesava Rao, Sub-Collector S. Nagalakshmi and others were present.
