Fresher’s Day was celebrated with gaiety at Vasireddy Venkatadri Institute of Technology, Nambur, on Monday. Students let their hair down regaling the first year batches making them feel at home. The seniors also showed their prowess though a thought provoking skit on teenage and life.
Earlier, VVIT chairman V. Vidya Sagar welcomed the juniors and advised the seniors to make them feel comfortable and motivate the juniors.
S.R.K Paramahamsa asked the students to imbibe high levels of discipline which will help them to build their character.
Director R. Naveen said that engineers have a major role to play in nation building.
Principal Y. Mallikarjuna Reddy advised the students to strictly abide by the disciplinary rules of the institute and make use of all resources available in the institute.
