First round of medical counselling concludes

The first round of counselling for admissions into MBBS and BDS courses in medical and dental colleges affiliated to Dr. N.T.R. University of Health Sciences concluded on Monday with the filling of 4,988 seats.

While 4,080 MBBS seats were filled, the number of BDS seats filled in the first round was 908.

A press release by University Registrar S. Babulal said that counselling for the seats that were not yet filled as per the orders of the Andhra Pradesh High Court would be held at Siddhartha Medical College on Tuesday from 2.30 p.m. onwards.

All candidates desirous of joining the courses should attend the counselling, the press release said.
