Fill teacher posts in aided schools, demands APTF

Members of Andhra Pradesh Teachers' Federation (APTF), Krishna district unit, resolved to demand the government to fill the vacant teacher posts in aided schools.

Speaking at the APTF council meeting at Freedom Fighters Bhavan here on Sunday, federation district president D. Mohana Rao demanded that the government release Dearness Allowance, fill up Mandal Education Officer posts through promotions and provide DA to retired teachers from July 1, 2011.

New body

Later, the federation members elected new body, including the State council and audit committees.

The newly elected were D. Mohana Rao (president), P.S.U. Prakash and four others (vice-presidents), K.Seetaramaiah (general secretary) and six members as secretaries.
