Tiny tots dressed up as Lord Krishna, Radha, and maids caught the attention at the Krishnashtami celebrations held across different schools in the district.

Students of Top Kids School celebrated the festival with pomp and gaiety. A special programme was held on the school premises. School correspondent Latha Thomas was present.

At Eurokids School in Krishna Nagar, tiny tots celebrated the festival with joy. Dressed in traditional dresses, the children took part in several competitions.

School director Renuka Rajesh said they had been imbuing the tradition and culture of the country within the minds of children.

Highlight of the day was the competition of breaking the pot (utti) which was enjoyed by the children.

Krishnastami celebrations were also held at Vignan Global Gen School at LIC Colony. Vignan Group zonal manager G. Koormanath recited slokas on the occasion.
