Addressing the gathering, Cathedral Fr. Lamu Jaya Raju said, “It has been proved that you live in the faith of Christ, as you have taken part in this rally.”

The youth should act as change makers of the society through their service to the community and society, he said.

The walk was organised to share the pain of Jesus who walked in streets of Jerusalem carrying cross. The walk marked the end of 40-days fasting, observed as part of passion days, he explained.

Chancellor Fr. J. John Raju celebrated holy mass, and prayed for world peace and prosperity.

Priests of different Parishes took part in the walk under the leadership of Cathedral Fr, Lamu Jaya Raju.
