Epson’s enVision a big draw

Young and enthusiastic photographers almost queued up to capture the image of a svelte model draped in a skin-hugging shining blue dress. The model happily smiled, turned and twisted for the camera.

The striking model and the photo-shoot session was part of enVision, a unique technology carnival organised by Epson at ‘A’ Convention hall in the city on Tuesday to showcase its latest additions in the digital imaging solutions for home, office, business and beyond.

The photographs clicked by visitors were displayed on a board. “The best picture will fetch its owner a free printer,” announces S.M. Ram Prasad, DGM, Epson.

“We are mainly focussed on two-tier cities now where people are keen on embracing new technology. This event is mainly aimed at showcasing our new products and telling the world that Epson is not just about printers but the company means much beyond that,” says Mr. Rama Prasad.

The space is occupied with state-of-the-art printers, projectors, scanners, mini printer mechanism, home theatres and other electronic devices.

“We are committed to developing technologies that enhance multiple aspects of people’s lives and people of the city, through this expo, have the opportunity to experience under one roof a spanking new world of technology,” he says.

Walking through home theatre projectors, futuristic personal head mount display, a revolutionary new ink tank printers, large format graphic printers and many more products jostling for space, he says the objective was to provide the local crowd a platform to see, know, learn and connect with the latest happenings around.

Business people, system integrators, people from IT segment, corporates and niche business segments like photo labs, photographers, architects, bankers and educationists thronged the event.
