‘Election Watch’ office inaugurated

Returning Officer of Bapatla Assembly Constituency K. Padmalatha inaugurated the ‘Election Watch’ office, here on Thursday. The RO said that the members of the Election Watch should play a crucial role in reporting violations of model code of conduct and in bringing awareness among voters. Election Watch district co-convener P.C. Sai Babu said that they would help the administration conduct a free and fair poll. Bapatla Tehsildar M. Venkateswarlu, Municipal Commissioner G. Sambasiva Rao, Karlapalem mandal Tehsildar V.V. Balasubrahmanyam and others participated in the function.
