The city seems to be ready to usher in high-end apartment culture.

Sophisticated flats, endowed with aesthetic designs showcasing refined interiors and spatial planning, to allow natural breeze and sunshine, and equipped with modern facilities, are a reality now in II-tier cities such as Vijayawada .

Luxury is the watchword for realty buyers post-bifurcation. This lavishness is all about bigger, spacious and expensive homes.

“Times are changing. A robust realty growth will be part of the flurry of activity this region will witness in the days to come. I wanted to take the lead in introducing the new concept to city through Landmark Infra Developers,” says Ravindranath Valluru, CEO of the company which is constructing a high-end apartment block in the heart of the city.

Developed in an area of 3,000 square yards right beside Sesha Sai Kalyana Vedika on Bandar Road, each unit has all the trappings of a dream house. For the first time in the State, post-tension slab, a slab of concrete that has been pre-stressed to increase its strength, is used in construction, he claims, informing that usually this technology is used in building flyovers.

Speaking about general specifications to eco-friendly amenities, he says luxury woven with class and comfort is unparalleled.

Each of the 30 flats, six units in each of the five floors, comprising 3,100 sft and 3,500 sft in area, is attached with a servant quarter besides green spaces in tot-lots, sit-outs and surrounding compound walls with yoga decks on the terrace.

The RCC framed structures have advanced PT slabs, AAC blocks for walls (sound, thermal and fire resistant) with use of advanced polymer-based cement for joining, plastering and floor-levelling to eliminate manual sand and cement mixture.

The price range of each unit is expected to be around Rs. 2.5 crore and Mr. Valluru already has a list of around dozen ‘definite’ buyers.
