The train (No 22117 Guntur – Kacheguda) would depart from Guntur at 12.45 p.m. on every Tuesday and Friday and would arrive at Kacheguda at 5.55 p.m.

It would stop at Piduguralla (1.45 p.m.), Miryalaguda (2.35 p.m.), Nalgonda (3 p.m.) and Malkajgiri (5.40 p.m.).

The train would depart at Kacheguda at 5.30 a.m. on every Tuesday and Friday and would arrive in Guntur at 10.40 a.m. En route, it would stop at Malkajgiri (5:45 a.m.), Nalgonda (7:20 a.m.), Miryalaguda 7:50 a.m., and Piduguralla 8:35 a.m.

The new double-decker has ten air conditioned chair cars and two power cars. The train has been provided with the latest safety features, including a unique VESDA system (Very Early Smoke/Fire Detection with Alarm System).

VESDA is being introduced in a double-decker train for the first time in Indian Railways. The seating arrangement was also designed to offer better comfort in journey than that of an ordinary AC chair car coach with more length, width and height, Mr. Prasad said.
