Andhra Pradesh Devadaya, Dharmadaya Bhoomula Sagudarla Porata Sangham State general secretary P. Narasimha Rao on Wednesday alleged that the government was driving away Dalit and Muslim tenant farmers from endowments lands under the garb of GO 425. The government was asking them to leave the endowments lands. The farmers would benefit only if they oppose the government decision and auctions tooth and nail.

The sangham would support the farmers in their fight against the undemocratic decisions. The sangham would also agitate against the auction of inam lands in Vempadu agraharam in Krishna district, he said. Mr. Rao alleged that Endowments Minister P. Manikyala Rao, a BJP leader, has turned the department into RSS unit. Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu was requested to intervene and set right the things, he said.
