Big data management and challenges posed following focus on digitisation and post-demonetisation will be among the important topics to come up for discussion at the two-day international conference on ‘Digital India in global IT spectrum: Innovate, integrate and transform’ here on February 24 and 25.
The international conference being hosted by the Computer Society of India (CSI) is expected to attract about 250 delegates, including 20 experts, from the United States of America and various parts of Asia. Ten startup companies from Visakhapatnam will also participate in the conference.
Digital innovation
CSI city chapter chairman and RINL Director (Operations) D.N. Rao told The Hindu on Tuesday that it would have various sessions for discussions on digital life and expectations in Andhra Pradesh, financial services, 3D in manufacturing and cyber security, smart factory platform, internet of everything, Industry 4.0, future technology, GIS in governance, NIC initiatives, digital innovation and promotion of digital valley in Visakhapatnam.
Electronics and Information Technology Secretary, Government of India, Aruna Sundarajan will inaugurate the conference.
Special Chief Secretary and Information Technology Advisor to the Chief Minister J.A. Chowdary, Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited Chairman-cum-Managing Director P. Madhusudan, former scientific advisor to Government of India S.V. Raghavan and others will speak.
There will be a parallel track to enable paper presentation by the representatives from the academia and industries.
Local software companies and FinTech Valley-Vizag are going to depute a large number of delegates to the conference.
