CPI leader passes away

Communist Party of India (CPI) senior leader Goriparti Krishna Murthy passed away on Friday.

He is survived by wife, two daughters and two sons.

Communist Party of India city secretary Donepudi Sankar and paid tributes to departed soul.

Krishna Murthy was born in Prodduturu village in Kankipadu mandal on Mach 9, 1938.

He joined Communist Party in 1968, and took membership from 42 division secretary Potru Venkateswara Rao.

He actively participated in many agitations launched by the party, and led Srinivasa Dairy, and Pala Varthaka Sangham in 70s.

He was member of Neyyi Varthaka Sangham in 1980.
