Co-optex plans more showrooms in A.P., T.S.

In tune with the changing trends and needs of the customers, Co-optex is planning to open more showrooms both in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana soon.

Plans have been chalked out to open a new showroom at Gajuvaka in Visakhapatnam in addition to the existing store in the port city. Efforts were on to inaugurate another showroom at Madhapur in Hyderabad where three stores at Secunderabad, Chikkadpally and Nampally were already catering to the needs of the customers, Tamil Naidu Handloom Weavers Cooperative Society Limited Managing Director T.N. Venkatesh said.

Non-toxic

He inaugurated an organic saris section at Co-optex showroom in Governorpet here on Saturday.

“We will be able to open the new showrooms by Diwali,” he said. He explained that the cotton used for making these saris was being cultivated without the use of fertilizers or pesticides for a minimum of three years.
