Jana Avedana Sammelans will be held to highlight the troubles people underwent immediately after demonetisation at all district headquarters by Congress workers.
Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee President N Raghuveera Reddy said that a decision was made to highlight the plight of the people due to demonetisation at the district and city presidents and the Demonetisation Campaign Committee meetings held here at the Andhra Ratna Bhavan here on Tuesday.
Briefing the media after the two meetings attended by leader of the Opposition in legislative Council C. Ramachandraiah, former TTD chairman K. Bapi Raju, former Minister Murali Mohan, APCC general secretaries Gidugu Rudraraju, TJR Sudhkara Babu, official spokesperson K Sivaji and city president Malladi Vishnu, Mr. Raghuveera Reddy said that Avedana Sammelan would also be held in all the 175 Assembly constituencies after the district head quarters.
It was decided that the Praja Ballot programme will be continued in March.
