Congress capital monitoring panel

The Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee has constituted the Amaravati Area Monitoring Committee with 15 members here on Thursday.

Former Ministers Devineni Rajasekhar, Kasu Venkata Krishna Reddy, former MLAs Makkena Mallikarjuna Rao, Malladi Vishnu, other leaders T J R Sudhakar babu, Lingamsetti Eswara Rao, Vanukuri Srinivasa Reddy, Pakkala Suribabu, Bandala Poorna Rao (Convener), Nelakuditi Venkataiah, Perisisetti Sahed, Bolla Nageswara, Chadrajupalli Chandra Rao, Sivakailash and Dasari Raju have been listed as members in a press release by PCC president N Raghuveera Reddy.

‘Check irregularities’

The primary purpose of the committee was to keep track of the irregularities being committed by the Government “under the pretext of developing the capital”, Mr Raghuveera Reddy said in a separate press release.
