Cong. executive panel meet today

The executive committee of the Congress will meet here on January 31 for the first time after bifurcation to discuss key issues like strengthening the party from the grass roots level, course of action to be adopted against the government’s moves to forcibly acquire land for the capital and the failure of the government in implementing poll promises such as loan waiver, according to PCC general secretary T.J.R. Sudhakar Babu.

The meeting will see participation of 13 vice-presidents, 26 general secretaries, district committee, city committee presidents and chairpersons of various wings. AICC secretaries R.C. Khuntia, Thirunavukkarasar and SC/ST wing Chairman Koppula Raja will be present. PCC president N. Raghuveera Reddy would preside over the meeting.

City president Malladi Vishnu said that the executive panel meeting would be followed by party workers’ meet at Tummalapalli Kalakshetram when its future course of action would be discussed.
