Addressing a review meeting of the district-level Highway Safety Committee with officials of the departments concerned here on Thursday, Mr. Rizwi said that the safety committee meetings should be held regularly on the first Thursday of every month from now on.

The reasons for accidents in the previous month and the action taken for their prevention should be discussed at these meetings, he said.
