City pastor’s disappearance: LA police alerted

Police and the intelligence officials, who were probing the case relating to missing pastor V. Johnson Chowdary in U.S., alerted the Indian Embassy in Washington. The police have already alerted their Los Angeles counterparts about his disappearance.

Mr. Chowdary of Gannavaram, left for the U.S. for attending religious programmes. According to the police, the pastor booked tickets from a private travels located on M.G. Road.

His return journey was scheduled on July 12, from Los Angeles to Hyderabad via. London.

Meanwhile, Mr Chowdary’s family members and friends met the representatives of the TANA and also the U.S. Consulate there, who assured them of all help. “The pastor’s phone is not working,” said a police officer investigating the case.
