The CSE Department Head K. Sreedhar said that the employment scope for software engineers will be greater in the future.
It does not matter in which college a student studies, but which department and how many marks one achieves is the most important thing said MVR College of Engineering and Technology Principal K.V. Sambasiva Rao at an awareness session for students at the Executive Club here on Saturday.
Speaking during the awareness programme on 2012 engineering web counselling organised by the college, the Principal said that engineering was the most sought-after course in India because of the large number of opportunities it provides to graduates. He said that all the well-known companies were keen on recruiting students from India and many want to set up their branches in the country. During the process of selecting college, students should look into the quality of faculty, infrastructure and based on the branch they want to choose, they should select a particular college.
The CSE Department Head K. Sreedhar said that the employment scope for software engineers will be greater in the future and students, who choose CSE group, have an advantage over those opting for other branches.
The ECE HOD M. Srinavas Rao said that the development in the field of ECE was the main reason for the easy lifestyle we are leading now. The EEE HOD Santosh predicted that to overcome the power crisis in the future Government will set up many electricity generation industries which in turn will provide lots of opportunities for the EEE graduates.
College Chairman Muthavarapu Srinivas Babu, A.O Ramakirshna and college professors participated in the counselling session and clarified the doubts of students and their parents.
