Leaders of YSR Congress party blamed TDP president N. Chandrababu Naidu for making allegations of corruption against YSRC president Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy.
In a statement issued here on Sunday, party Rythu wing state convenor M.V.S. Nagireddy questioned on how Mr. Naidu came to know that courts arrived at a conclusion that Mr. Jagan was a corrupt leader.
Alleging that the TDP chief was making ‘padayatra’ only to retain his party leaders, who were shifting to other parties, Mr. Reddy said that the Opposition leader was known for corruption.
The Yeleru scam, fake currency in Eluru, stamps scam and many other scams occurred during Mr Naidu’s regime, the YSRC leader alleged, and questioned on why the TDP president approached the courts and got stay preventing inquiry against him.
As Mr. Jaganmohan Reddy knew that he had not resorted to any corrupt activities, he did not approach the courts, Mr. Nagireddy said.
If the CBI had evidence against the YSRC president, why the investigating officers are delaying filing of charge-sheet, Mr. Nagireddy questioned.
