CBI trying to demoralise Jagan, says YSRCP

June 13, 2012 11:51 am | Updated 11:51 am IST - VIJAYAWADA:

Even as YSR Congress Party president Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy was cooperating the CBI sleuths, the investigating agency filed a petition in court seeking permission for narco analysis tests on the latter, said YSRCP leader P. Gowtham Reddy.

The CBI, government, and the police are jointly harassing Mr. Jagan. How can the police shift an MP and a party president in a police van to court just like an ordinary undertrial prisoner, questioned Mr. Reddy at a press conference.

The police also insulted party honorary president Y.S. Vijayalakshmi by checking her vehicle during election campaign, said Mr. Gowtham Reddy.

Party district convenor Samineni Udayabhanu said the government was showing negligence in providing security to Mr. Jagan. Congress party was harassing YSR's family member, since Mr. Jaganmohan Reddy left the Congress party, he said.
