Majority of the students wishing to take up an engineering course are in a dilemma as how to choose a particular college or stream of engineering.

The admission into engineering, medicine and agriculture colleges through the EAMCET-2012 will begin very soon with the results and ranks of entrance examination to be declared on Friday.

Majority of the students wishing to take up an engineering course are in a dilemma as how to choose a particular college or stream of engineering. To address the queries and doubts of the students, The Hindu Education Plus proposes to organise a career counselling programme across the State. As part of that, the programme will be conducted in Vijayawada on July 1 (Sunday) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Khammam on July 3 (Tuesday) and July 4 (Wednesday) at Guntur.

Students opting for medicine or dental courses need to attend the counselling programme to be organised at Siddhartha Academy Auditorium on July 1 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. along with those aspiring for a seat in engineering or bio-technology. Experts will clarify all the doubts about what a particular stream of engineering or medicine/dental courses entails.

The event will be organised only for Engineering seat aspirants at TTDC (Training and Technology Development Centre), Yellendu Cross Road in Khammam from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., while at Guntur also it will be organised for Engineering aspirants at Sri Venkateswara Vignana Mandiram, Opposite Hindu College. A registration fee of Rs.100 will be charged and a career guide book will be given free to all those who register and attend the Career Counseling programme.
