Cancer awareness rally taken out

As a part of the 69th NCC Day celebrations, a 'Cancer Awareness Rally' was organised by 5 (Andhra) Girls Battalion, under the aegis of NCC Group Headquarters – Tirupati, here on Friday morning. About 200 cadets hailing from five units of NCC Group HQ, accompanied by nine officers and 26 permanent instructors, took part in the rally from Alipiri, covering important junctions of the temple city. The main aim of the event was to spread awareness among denizens about cancer and emphasis on aspects such as early detection. medication and prevention. The event was flagged off by Group Commander K.V. Vithal.
