Build Tech Expo-2013, a three-day exhibition of exteriors, interiors, and construction material and allied products, was kick-started here on Friday.

The exhibition could be a one-stop place in the city, though only for two more days, for the people planning to add new features to their living area or construct a dream house of their own.

The exhibition profile includes air-conditioning and refrigeration, arts and interiors, acoustic systems and control, furnishing and fixtures, doors and window systems, hardware tools and implements, flooring paving and cladding, paintings and finishes, roofing systems and products, and wood products.

The latest and most modern material required for the construction of houses, such as doors, windows, and so on, have been displayed at the expo. There are stalls on furniture as well.

Wide range

The expo offers a wide range of home decors, including home theatres, and bathroom fittings. The home theatres on display instantaneously draw the attention of the visitors. Depending upon the tastes and buying capacities, the home theatre prices vary. Home theatres are available in the range of Rs.65,000 to Rs. 10 lakh. Needles to say about the bathroom fittings. They are available in the range of Rs. 12,000 to Rs. 80,000.

The organisers said that the exhibition would enhance people’s awareness of various building material required for construction of houses. The exhibition is mainly aimed at creating awareness about the latest patterns available in the market. Dealers have descended on the venue located in the heart of the city to entice homemakers with an exclusive range of material that reflects the growing fascination for advanced technology.

The exhibition has come at the right time, as the construction activity is picking up after a long lull.
