‘Bring back Babu’ is the new campaign to be launched by youth and professionals in the city to project TDP leader N. Chandrababu Naidu as the best bet for development of the State.

Addressing a press conference here on Saturday, the campaign volunteer Chaganti Satish said that they have chalked out various plans to create awareness among voters, especially the first-timers.

‘Paint the city yellow’, and ‘Stand up and Walk for Babu’ were some of the programmes conceived by the volunteers. On Sunday, the volunteers would take out a rally from NTR Circle to PWD Grounds with placards with eye-catching slogans. “Messages highlighting the advantages of voting for Babu would be the added attraction,” he said.

As part of campaign, the volunteers would visit places where people gather to discuss issues of common interests. “For instance, they go to Siddhartha College or Loyola College Grounds were walkers gather regularly. We will explain our stand without any argument,” he said.

The volunteers are neither TDP workers nor leaders. They were supporting Mr. Chandrababu for better development as he had already proved his mettle by developing Hyderabad as the world class city. The aim is to spread the message of former Chief Minister on his philosophy, goals and aspirations”.

The campaign was started on social media as well as and posting are already made in facebook. “We are hopeful that our efforts will spread among the youth especially the first-time voters,” Mr Satish said.

Volunteers Koteswara Rao Yarlagadda, Saibabu Yarlagadda, Srinivas Kothapalli, Yerneni Vedavyas also spoke.
