Boy drowns in Pushkar Ghat

Seven-year-old Adapa Kiran Kumar drowned in Padmavati Ghat while taking the holy dip in the river on Friday.

He was studying third class.

Kiran Kumar, son of A. Ramakrishna, came to the river along with his friends to take holy bath.

He slipped and drowned. Sanitation staff while cleaning the water noticed the body in the waters.

The boy was the resident of the Bhramarambapuram of Krishnalanka.

Case registered

The body was handed over to the family members and the Krishnalanka police registered a case.
