Booklet on ‘Tips to save power’ released

Chairman and Managing Director of the Andhra Pradesh Southern Power Distribution Company Limited (SPDCL) K. Vidyasagar Reddy released a booklet on ‘Tips to save power’ here on Saturday.

On the occasion, Mr. Reddy said “power saved is power produced.” One unit power saved was equal to 1.3 to 1.4 unit of power produced. Power could be saved by using energy efficient gadgets and machinery. The market was flooded with such energy efficient gadgets, which give maximum output with minimum input, he said. Andhra Chamber of Commerce and Industry president Muthavarapu Muralikrishna said they printed one lakh booklets with a cost of Rs. 3 lakh. Popular Shoemart, Kusalava Batteries Pvt. Ltd., Poweron, Efftronics Systems Pvt. Ltd., Macrocost Pvt. Ltd., Kumar Pumps and Motors, Attitude Car Decors, Kristna Engineering Works, and Time Hospitals helped in bringing out the booklet.
