Leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) celebrated the residuary State of Andhra Pradesh coming into existence, in the wake of Telangana State becoming a reality on Monday. They paid floral tributes to Kakani Venkata Ratnam, a prominent leader of the Jai Andhra movement.
The leaders including BJP city president D. Umamaheswara Raju, P. Malakondaiah, L.R.K. Prasad, Jaganmohan Raju, M.V. Rama Subbaiah and A. Venkateswara Rao expressed confidence that the Successor State of Andhra Pradesh will be transformed into a model State under the able leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who promised to extend his support for the endeavour.
