Andhra Pradesh High Court Judge Justice B. Chandra Kumar has asked students to be truthful and work hard to lead a respectable life. He advised them to strive to fulfil the dreams of their parents.
Mr. Justice Chandra Kumar addressed students at a seminar on ‘Legal awareness and character building among students’ at NRI Institute of Technology, at Pothavarappadu village in Krishna district on Saturday.
The High Court Judge said that students should take every care in shaping their life, and wanted the youngsters to be prepared to face the variations in society from time to time. Students should learn how to respect self, honour a person, and maintain balance to prevent mistakes.
“Society is changing fast and in every field there are lots of changes, a natural phenomenon. Life is very long and try to achieve your goals with determination,” Mr. Justice Chandra Kumar said.
Krishna District Principal Judge G. Chakradhara Rao said students should have overall knowledge, along with academics. He asked the budding engineers to focus on studies for having a bright future.
“At this age, the minds of students are unpolluted, but their age group is dangerous, which gets attracted to bad habits. Keep away from bad practices, become good scientists and engineers, and bring reputation to your parents and institution,” he advised the youngsters.
College chairman R. Venkat Rao said the institution was giving top priority for discipline and physical activity such as games, sports, meditation, and other extra-curricular activities.
Earlier, the chief guest, along with college principal C. Naga Bhaskar, secretary K. Sreedhar, director M.V.N. Sharma, DLMRM Trust chairman D. Srinivasa Reddy, and students, observed silence for world peace.
