Ballot papers in Krishna district to be distributed on July 18,19

Krishna district Collector Buddha Prakash M. Jyothi on Wednesday inspected Telugu Mahila Building, Nimmakuru, where ballot papers were scheduled to be distributed for Panchayat elections were printed and being stored amid tight security.

The missing serial number ballots among the 48 lakh ballot papers meant for electing both Sarpanch and Ward Member contestants have also been printed and added in the serial. He directed to the staff deployed at the Ballot Printing Centre that the register and timings of the on-duty staff should be registered on regular basis.

“We will distribute the ballot papers to the respective mandals on July 18 and 19. Necessary arrangements were made to respond to complaints received from the public regarding illegal flow of money,”’ Mr. Buddha Prakash told newsmen. Zilla Parishad Chief Executive Officer Mr. Kondaiah Sastri and revenue officials accompanied the Collector.
