June 21, 2010 06:34 pm | Updated 06:34 pm IST - VIJAYAWADA:

The district administration constituted special teams to identify the child labourers in the district and send them to schools, according to Joint Collector Gaurav Uppal.

Participating in the ‘badi baata' programme at Share and Care school in Rajarajeswaripeta here on Sunday, Dr. Uppal said that the teams comprising education, police, labour, child welfare and representatives of NGOs would swing into action on June 22 and 23.

They would visit all villages and towns in the district to ensure that no child was out of school, he said and urged the parents to enrol their children in schools during the ongoing the ‘badi baata' programme.
