A.P., Telangana temple chariots to take part in spiritual fair

A Hindu Spiritual Fair will be organised in Chennai from July 8 to 14. The Fair is being organised by Chennai-based Hindu Spiritual and Service Foundation. As many as seven rathams (chariots) from famous temples in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana will take part in the fair.

Sri Durga Malleswara Swamyvarla Devasthanam (Kanaka Durga temple), Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), Kanipakam, Sri Kalahasti, Dwaraka Tirumala, Srisailam and Yadagirigutta have geared up to send their prachara rathams.

Kanaka Durga temple chariot would leave the city on Tuesday. Temple priest Srinivasa Sastry and others would accompany the chariot.

Speaking to The Hnidu , fair coordinator PVR Krishna Rao said that three kalayanams would be performed during the Fair.
