A.P. Governor takes holy dip at Punnami Ghat

Later Chief Minister, N. Chandrababu Naidu met the Governor for about twenty minutes.

Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan took a holy dip along with his wife at Punnami Ghat on the sixth day of Krishna Pushkaram, the river festival, in Vijayawada on Wednesday.

Mr. Narasimhan performed pujas in Krishna River and had ‘pushkar snanam’ (holy bath). Endowments Minister Pydikondala Manikyala Rao, Agriculture Minister Prathipati Pulla Rao and officials accompanied the Governor.

The Governor then had a darshan of Sri Durgamalleswara Swamy atop Indrakeeladri hill. Temple Executive Officer Surya Kumari and priests welcomed Mr. Narasimhan.

Later Chief Minister, N. Chandrababu Naidu met the Governor for about twenty minutes.
