A delegation of professors of Acharya Nagarjuna University led by Vice-Chancellor K. Viyanna Rao called on Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu at Hyderabad and submitted a book Perspective Plan for the Development of Andhra Pradesh (New State) .

The draft, a compilation of 32 articles on various fields of development like education, health, industry, agriculture, science and technology and others, is a vision document that lays a roadmap for the future of the State.

Mr. Rao himself has penned two articles – ‘First step for development of the new State of Andhra Pradesh’ and ‘Revenue generation capability of the new State of A.P.’ The Chief Minister evinced keen interest in the document and instructed Director of Planning and Development to go through the book and incorporate the key findings in the action plan for development of the State.

Mr. Naidu also appreciated the V-C and professors for undertaking a monumental task of preparing the draft based on authentic data from Statistics Bureau.
