Temple to ply free buses from railway station and bus station to all ghats

Sri Durga Malleswara Swamyvarla Devasthanam has made all arrangements for ensuing Bhavani deeksha viramana (relinquishment) scheduled from December 16 to 21.

Temple Executive Officer M. Raghunath said that basic amenities and necessary infrastructure were provided at six ghats, including Padmavathi, Dobhi, Sitammavari paadalu, Durga ghat, and Bhavani ghat.

The temple would ply free buses from Railway station and bus station to all ghats. The temple queue lines would be thrown open for bhavanis from 2 a.m. to 11 p.m. on all days, except on Friday (December 16). The queue lines would be functional from 6 a.m. on Friday.

The bhavanis coming from Kurnool and Nalgonda districts were requested to visit the temple on Friday and Saturday. The devotees from Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, East and West Godavari districts were asked to come on December 18 and 19, while Krishna, Guntur, and Nellore districts Bhavanis would visit the temple on December 20 and 21, he said.

In view of past experiences, the devotees travelling by road were requested to travel during day time only. The Bhavanis were also suggested to engage two drivers and vehicles in good condition.

The devotees coming from Nalgonda and Hyderabad should park their vehicles on Bhavani ghat and Crombay Road, Bhavanipuram Lorry Stand, and TTD open space.

The devotees from Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, East and West Godavari districts would have to park their vehicles at Old Government Hospital Road, Swargapuri feeder road and Satyam gari hotel. The Railway Station parking place, goods shed road, Tarapet, BRTS road, PNBS parking place, K.R. Market, and Sitammavari padalu are earmarked for vehicles coming from Krishna, Guntur, and Nellore.
