Congress leader and Eluru Member of Parliament Kavuri Samabasiva Rao has encroached about 2,000 acres of Kolleru lake lands flouting all norms and he was being protected by the State Government by not implementing G.O. 120, alleged CPI State Secretary K. Narayana in Guntur on Thursday.

Speaking to the media on the second day of the 19th State AIYF Conference at Vignan Mandiram, he alleged that he had encroached upon large tracts of lands out of the 1.25 lakh acres in Benami names and this issue would be discussed in Parliament by Gurudas Dasgupta, Mr. Narayana said assuring people of continued agitation on the issue by his party.

Listing out the Congress leaders' alleged atrocities, he said while Vanama Venkateswarlu got defeated from Kothagudem, he was trying to frame charges against the party MLA K. Sambasiva Rao against which all the political parties were continuing agitation in Khammam district, which would be taken other districts and if need be raised in Parliament also.

Among other major speakers at the conference included AIYF National General Secretary Murugan and president Santosh Kumar. Cine lyricist Suddla Ashok Teja was an added attraction and delegates listened to him with rapt attention. Youth should take to revolutions and make participation in agitations their lifestyle, Mr. Murugan told delegates.

Several burning issues from price rise to privatisation of education and health should be taken up, heopined.

Party district secretary Muppalla Nageswara Rao also attended the conference.
