Activists of the Samaikyandhra Students JAC walked on their knees seeking the mercy of Telugu Talli. Student JAC convener, along with N.S.U.I. Raju, performed ‘abhishekam’ to the statue of Telugu Talli with milk in Tummalapalli Kalakshetram and then walked on their knees.

The activists fulfilled their vow to the goddess in anticipation that the State would not be divided by the Central government.

Samaikyandhra activists of Labbipeta submitted an appeal to the idol of Shirdi Saibaba in Labbipeta Venkateswara Swamy temple street.

The activists then organised ‘Vanta-Varpu’ programme and served chicken biryani to people of the area and other activists who joined them to express their solidarity.

The police had to divert traffic on M.G. Road for several hours to allow the programmes of the activists.
