A dance ballet featuring Goddess Mahalakshmi by actor Hema Malini and her team of artists from the Natyavihar Kalakendra, Mumbai, captivated the audience on the final day of the Amaravati Global Dance and Music Festival here on Monday.

The music for the ballet was composed by Ravindra Jain, and the playback singing was by Kavitha Krishnamurthi.

An acclaimed exponent of Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi and Mohiniattam, Ms. Hema Malini gave a graceful performance at the Pavithra Sangamam, living up to her reputation as one who mastered the traditional dance forms, while maintaining her streak of success in Bollywood.
