Tirumala: Former Union Minister Krishnam Raju on Wednesday evaded a direct reply to a question as to when he would assume charge as Governor of Tamil Nadu. Mr. Raju merely said: “Let the orders come.”
Meanwhile, speculations are rife that the BJP, keen in establishing its presence in the State, is toying with the idea of appointing the film star-turned-politician as the Governor of Tamil Nadu.
Mr. Raju offered prayers at the famous hill temple of Venkateswara. Interacting with the media after emerging from the temple, he conveyed New Year greetings to the people of the country.
