P. Ashok Babu and N. Chandra Sekhar Reddy were re-elected unanimously as president and general secretary of the A.P Non-Gazetted Officers’ Association (APNGOA).

This was announced by the election officers on Monday.

Ch. Purushottam Naidu was elected associate president, D.V. Ramana, G. Ramakrishna Reddy, C. Subba Reddy, Sk. Bajeeth, R. Ravi Sankar, K. Ramesh Kumar, P. Srinivasu and Y. Prasad (vice-presidents); A.V.V.S.V.V. Narasimham, K. Jagadeeswara Rao, A.S.V.S. Bapuji, K. Vasantha Rao and B. Krupavaram (secretaries); P. Veerendra Babu (treasurer); B. Tulasiratnam (woman secretary); G. Gangi Reddy (organising secretary) and Ch. Ajay Kumar (publicity secretary).

Addressing media persons after taking charge, Mr. Ashok Babu said the employees shifted to Amaravati though there were no proper facilities and they were at the same time conscious of the constraints faced by the government in conceding their demands.

“The A.P Non-Gazetted Officers’ Association will continue to strive for the welfare of the employees and assert itself whenever the situation demands,” Mr. Ashok Babu observed.
